Story
We got lucky when we first got it. There was a ton of it around- which is bad for public safety, but in the right hands, as long as you keep it in the right conditions, it's an enormous help.
We can't make it on our own, not from scratch. You have to have it already to make more. But, even if we don't survive, maybe someday someone like us, or someone not quite like us, will figure out how to create it from nothing, which I bet would revolutionize society as we know it.
